My name is Maura Carter and I live in Alma, Georgia with my husband, Brandon and our two children, nine year old Avery, and four year old Dutton. I enjoy spending time with my family, riding horses, fishing, mountain vacations, roller coasters, and enjoy any outdoor activities with my family.
I decided to become an ISR Instructor after watching my daughter complete lessons when she was only two years old. I sat in amazement watching my toddler swim, then rollback and rest in her float, and then off she goes again until she's where she wants to be. That was the point that I realized, drowning is actually preventable and every kid needs these skills. I am so excited to bring ISR to my hometown and educate parents in my community about water safety.
I hope to be able to reach many families and teach children the life-saving skills they will need and use if they ever happen to reach the water alone.
