My name is Maura Carter and I live in Alma, Georgia with my husband, Brandon and our two children, seven year old Avery, and two year old Dutton. I enjoy spending time with my family, riding horses, fishing, mountain vacations, roller coasters, and watching college football.
I decided to become an ISR Instructor after watching my daughter complete lessons when she was only two years old. I sat in amazement watching my toddler swim, then rollback and rest in her float, and then off she goes again until she's where she wants to be. That was the point that I realized, drowning is actually preventable and every kid needs these skills. I am so excited to bring ISR to my hometown and educate parents in my community.
I hope to be able to reach many families and teach children the life-saving skills they will need if they ever happen to reach the water alone.
